Explosion Destroys Storage Building in Boones Mill, Fire Spreads to Neighboring Sheds

BOONES MILL – A storage building is in shambles after witnesses say they heard an explosion around 9:54 a.m. Tuesday, February 4.

Cable 12’s Kevin Tosh also saw rescue crews headed to the scene on in the 300 block of Murray Knob Road.

The storage building was fully involved when crews arrived. The fire spread to other outbuildings and woodsheds near the reported explosion.

Firefighters worked to contain the fire.
