Flora Funeral Service Obituary: Danny Reid Walker

Danny Reid Walker, age 76 of Rocky Mount passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Walker; son, Troy Reid Walker; step-son, Donald Hutson; daughter, Tonya Walker. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Dana (James) Washburn, Nicole (CW) Cooper and Penny (Teddy) Walker; grandchildren, Tyler (Amber), Bailee, Grayson, Gage, Daniel, Nicholas, Alley, Devin, Desmond, Deon, Deshon, Demitri, Desiree and Desianna; great-grandchildren, Tatum and Gray; brother, Phillip Dale; sister, Patricia Walker. Danny loved and cared for his family and he retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with 35 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 with Pastor Derek Layman officiating. Interment will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
