UPDATE: Pedestrian Hit in Rocky Mount Identified
Update (12/17/19 2:30 p.m.) – Officers with the Rocky Mount Police Department responded to the intersection of West Church Street and South Main Street shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Monday December 16, 2019 after a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle in the roadway.
Alvin Hall, 81 years of age was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital and remains hospitalized in their care at this time.
The driver of the motor vehicle involved was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.

ROCKY MOUNT – First responders say a pedestrian has been hit near 120 South Main Street in the area of Randolph and East Church Street near Mary Elizabeth Park.
The roadway was blocked for about 10 minutes as first responders worked the scene, but is now open.
