Judy Guthrie Conner

Judy Guthrie Conner, age 77 passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at her home in Callaway, VA. She was born June 29, 1949, a daughter of the late Joe and Sarah Guthrie of the Naff Community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nellie King, Peggy Carter, Doris Sprouse and Lorraine Jackson; brothers, Stuart Price and Galen Guthrie; and her live with companion, Harvey Nichols.
Surviving are her children, Donna Conner and David Conner; brother, Albert Guthrie; and many nieces and nephews.
Judy graduated from Franklin County High School. She then married and raised a family while working on a farm and at Mountain Top Orchard Greenhouse. Judy later found her calling by becoming a CNA for over 25 years, caring and loving for others in need. She would make people smile day in and day out, which was something she was most passionate about.
The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice and Nikki Caldwell from Care Advantage for all their help caring for Judy until the end.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
