Joyce Ashwell Fuller, age 91 of Glade Hill passed away Friday, September 25, 2026. She was born April 16, 1935 and was the only child of Hallie and Ped Ashwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Fuller; and son, Bob Fuller.

Left to cherish her memories are her family, Billy and Debbie Fuller; her precious grandchildren, Cole Fuller, Caleb and Jackie Fuller, and Callie and Justin Shaffer; her beautiful great-grandchildren, Pearl Fuller, Piper Fuller, Alexander Shaffer; and one great-grandson expected in October 2026. Also, her son, John and Carol Fuller; and daughter-in-law, Robyn Fuller.

She was a lifelong member of Rocky Mount Christian Church. She retired as Franklin County Commissioner of Revenue after 30 years’ service.

She most enjoyed her weekends and holidays cooking for and being with family and friends. She had a sharp wit and giving nature.

She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2026 with the Rev. Dr. Shaun Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
