Truck Driver in Critical Condition After Early Morning Wreck in Moneta

MONETA – The driver of a yellow tractor trailer truck that appeared to be carrying sawdust had to be freed by firefighters after his rig overturned early Monday morning, according to the Moneta Volunteer Fire Department.

The crash happened at 3:33 a.m. in the 10000 block of Moneta Road, according to a Facebook post on the fire department’s page.

The Bedford Fire Department was also called to the scene for “heavy entrapment”.

The single occupant was taking to a local hospital by Bedford Fire and Rescue in critical condition, according to the post.
