Rocky Mount Town Council Meeting Set for Monday Night
ROCKY MOUNT, VA – The April 2021 Town Council Meeting will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Town of Rocky Mount Municipal Building.
Highlights of the meeting include recognition of the 2021 Virginia Teacher of the Year, Anthony Swann and a public hearing for a Special Use Permit Request for Living Proof Beer Company.
Other items included a resolution/proclamation naming Assistant Town Manager Mark Moore as a Freedom of Information Officer and a briefing on the upcoming change of Town elections from May to November.
In order to comply with Governor Northam’s amended Executive Order 72, the April council meeting will be open to the public, however there will be a limit of 50 people.
Anyone seeking to make comments during the Hearing of Citizens portion of the meeting may still do so by emailing to your comments, your name and you must include your physical home address to [email protected] with all information needed, the comments will be given to members of Town Council and then entered into the record.
If you wish to comment in person at the meeting, please limit all comments to 5 minutes or less.
