On January 4, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office hosted a pinning ceremony of six new Deputies.
Sheriff Miller swore in Deputy Melinda Docker, Deputy Joshua Person and Deputy Alexis Rucker who just graduated the Basic Law Enforcement Academy.
Additionally, Sheriff Miller swore in Deputy Ricardo Orozco, Deputy Daniel Spradlin and Deputy Daniel Jansen who joined the Sheriff’s Office as previously certified law enforcement officers.
The Deputies will be assigned to Field Operations as Patrol Deputies.
“The Sheriff’s Office is proud to have these newly hired Deputies on the staff, and they are sure to be a value to the Sheriff’s Office and to Bedford County,” said Major J.D. Wilkes, Chief Deputy, in a news release Monday.
