Laurie Chitwood Memorial Fundraiser Featuring Carson Peters Cancelled

ROCKY MOUNT – A benefit bluegrass concern in honor of Laurie Chitwood, who passed late last year in a car accident will not take place as originally scheduled.

The concern was to be held at the FCHS auditorium the evening of March 28, but will have to be rescheduled after school leaders said any on-campus events with large numbers of people would be cancelled due to Coronavirus concerns.
