Dancing With a Cause Cancelled, Make-Up Date in the Works

ROCKY MOUNT – The Community Partnership announced Thursday that the Dancing for a Cause event scheduled for Friday, March 13 has been cancelled, citing Franklin County Public School’s cancelling all outside events at the high school.

“We will do our best to reschedule at a later date,” organizers said. “Stay tuned… the show will go on. Our wish is for each of you to stay healthy!”

The boxes used to collect money for the cause located in local businesses will remain in place until April 1.

“Please make a monetary donation to your favorite [dancer] before then,” organizers said in a Facebook post.

All money collected will go to area non-profits.
