Police Searching for Scooter Stolen From Rocky Mount

ROCKY MOUNT – Rocky Mount Police are telling the public to keep their eyes peeled for a dark blue or black scooter similar to the one pictured. The stolen scooter has purple rims, however.

The scooter displayed Virginia registration 22133M and was parked in the west end of town when it was stolen early Sunday morning, police sat in a Facebook post.

“BE ON THE LOOKOUT!!!

Your assistance is needed locating a 2012 Jonway scooter. The scooter was dark blue or black with purple rims and displayed Virginia registration 22133M at the time of theft . The scooter was stolen from the west end of Town during the early morning hours of 02-16-2020. If spotted please contact Law Enforcement at 540-483-3000.”
