State Police Need Your Help Finding a Southside Man Who Led Them On Two High-Speed Chases

PITTSYLVANIA CO. – The Virginia State Police need your help finding a man who led them on two high-speed chases that had to be discontinued due to erratic driving.

Willie Junnie Elmore. 71, is believed to be living in Pittsylvania or Halifax County. He is wanted by the City of Danville for his third felony offense of shoplifting and felony failure to appear.

Elmore is known to be driving a black 2001, two-door Dodge Ram Pickup with Virginia license plate number UUL-8175 within the City of Danville.

The chases involved the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office as well.

Elmore does not have a driver’s license and does not pose a danger to the public unless he is driving, state police say.
