Rhonda Holcomb Jones

Rhonda Holcomb Jones, age 67 of Moneta died Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Rhonda was born March 26, 1954 and was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Pauline Holcomb. Surviving are her husband, Allen (Pete) Jones; daughter, Angela Campbell (Ronnie); son, Troy Jones (Faye); four granddaughters; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; brothers and sisters, Blaine Holcomb (Elizabeth), Carol Stump (Billy), Bonnie Reynolds, Mark Holcomb (Kim); nieces and nephews, Melissa (Scott), Teresa (Joe), Aleyssa (Terry), Darrell (Barbara), Timmy (Pam). Rhonda enjoyed a career of legal work with Dave Wilson, Woods-Rogers, Mike Aheron, Adams and Fisk, PLC. She attended Mt. Ivy Christian Church and Franklin Heights Church. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Minister Steve Pasley and Pastor Stan Parris officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
