Franklin Co. Investigators Issue Nine Felony Arrests in 12-Hours
FRANKLIN COUNTY – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department conducted “roving saturation patrols” on March 11, leading to several arrests.
In just 12 hours, investigators made nine felony arrests, 15 drug-related charges, 15 misdemeanor arrests, and 14 summonses.
Ray Jones, Jr. 29, of Wirtz was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
Richard Holt, 43, of Rocky Mount was also arrested for
possession of methamphetamine.
Nathan Young, 23, of Rocky Mount was arrested for possession of THC oil.
Donnie Deacon, 40, of Ferrum was arrested for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and bringing a controlled substance into a correctional facility.
The purpose of the patrols was to increase visibility of law enforcement on specific locations throughout the county.
