Truck Slams into Five Vehicles in Parking Lot of Southside School, No Injuries
RINGGOLD – State police say a medical emergency may have caused the driver of a truck to plow into five vehicles in a elementary school parking lot Thursday morning (March 14).
The crash happened in the parking lot of Kentuck Elementary School when a 2006 Chevy Silverado traveling on Route 729 ran off of the right side of the rode and into the parked cars. No one was in any of the five vehicles that were hit at 10:51 a.m., state police say.
The driver, a 57-year-old man, was not wearing his seat belt and was transported to Danville SONOVA Hospital with a life-threatening condition. He has not been charged in the crash.
No other injuries were reported, state police say.
