Two New Cases of COVID-19 Brings Cumulative Total to 21 in Franklin Co.
FRANKLIN COUNTY – The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) says there are two new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Franklin County (Virginia) as of Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
VDH West Piedmont Spokesperson Nancy Bell says one of the new cases is a woman in her 20’s with known exposure to COVID-19 and developed symptoms consistent with the virus. The woman is isolating at home, Bell says.
The other new case is a woman in her 40’s with known exposure to COVID-19. The woman also developed Coronavirus symptoms and is isolated at her home.
In both cases, any close contacts with the individuals have been identified, Bell says.
The total number of cases in Franklin County so far is now 21, the VDH says.
