SML Regional Chamber Announces 2020 Ambassador Council
SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE – The Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce today announced its 2020 Ambassador Council.
The 12-member council assists with a number of critical functions of the organization, according to SMLRCC Executive Director Christopher Finley.
“Working in conjunction with Laura Moritz, our community relations manager, ambassadors serve as liaisons and mentors,” Finley said. “They welcome new businesses and lay the groundwork for a successful relationship.”
In addition, he explained, ambassadors connect regularly with all Chamber members to answer questions, solicit feedback, make introductions and extend invitations to functions and seminars.
“Ambassadors also ensure members are maximizing, the many, many benefits of Chamber membership, such as networking opportunities, educational seminars, business connection meetings, and a variety of marketing, advertising and website opportunities,” Finley said. “We’re extremely grateful for the time, energy and effort these professionals put into serving the Chamber.”
