Pansy Carter Craddock

January 7, 1938 – December 21, 2024

Pansy Carter Craddock, age 86 of Ferrum, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Pansy was born on January 7, 1938, to Gerald and Nora Carter in Ferrum. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Pete Craddock; and two grandsons, Dwight Foley and Adam Spencer. She is survived by a son, Steve Foley and wife Kay; and daughters, Cindy Spencer and husband Darrell and Kimberly Joyce and husband Randy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as three siblings and many dear friends. She was a charter member and faithful attender of Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Ferrum. Pansy loved Christmas and was known for her gift of hospitality and delicious food. The family would like to express deepest appreciation to Terra Bella Pheasant Ridge Memory Care and to Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their exemplary care of Pansy for the last seven months. Visitation will be at 1:00 Friday, December 27, at Flora Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2:00 with Pastors Dustin Spencer and Terry Covey officiating. Interment will follow in the Young-Carter Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Twin Oaks Baptist Church.
