Tyler Austin Wade Hale-Camp, age 29 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024. He was born August 7, 1995. Tyler was preceded in death by his mother, Lorie Beth Perdue (2018); grandfather, Frank Wade Camp; grandmother, Vicki D. Long; and uncle, William Bryann Camp. Surviving are his father, Wade (Evelyn) Camp; sisters, KC Camp, Katelynn Austin (Jalin Dudley), Liberty Camp, Courtney Minnick (B.J.) and Cassidy Ragans (Ryan); brother, Tyler Ragans; nieces and nephews, Lera, Kylee, Jasper and Welsey; special nieces and nephews, Ophelia, Aiden, Braden, Savannah, Mason, Clay and Miles; grandmother, Michele Camp; uncles, Mack and Mike (Jennifer) Camp; special cousins, Kwon and Danielle Camp; and many other cousins and family members. In addition, he was the best uncle to his nieces and nephews, and also the best uncle to his friends’ children. Tyler was involved in several different hobbies throughout his life. He was an avid lover of music. He enjoyed helping people train at Just Perform Barbell in Rocky Mount as he took his health and fitness very seriously. Tyler was so full of life and knowledgeable about a variety of topics. Tyler had several tattoos, but all had a meaning, especially two that were dedicated to his mother and best friend. He was always there to help anyone and to give great advice. Even though Tyler had negative experiences early on in his life, he used them in a positive way to help other people with life situations they may be going through. He never met a stranger and was a very wide open and free-spirited person who will be dearly missed. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at Flora Funeral Service. The family asks that if you have any photos with Tyler, to bring a copy of them as they will have a photo memory board available.
