Regardless of mobility, leverage neuroscience to support mental, emotional, and physical health in Nature!

Description: Danielle helps participants understand and take action on complicated relationships that scientists are uncovering between our brains and the outdoors. Participants will learn how to manipulate their own physiology and how to maximize the benefit of their time outside with simple activity enhancements and exercises. Regardless of how much time outdoors you spend, a few simple tricks could have you feeling and moving better through your day-to-day. Join us to learn to enhance benefits of your current outdoor activities and add new practices to maximize the benefits of your time outside.

Speakers’ Bio: A field ecologist, educator, and manager, Danielle has been working in and integrating science and education fields for nearly 20 years. She attributes many of her passions and professional successes to her mandated childhood instructions to “go outside and play.” Outdoor explorations in the backyard, leadership camps, and family hiking and camping trips encouraged her curiosity and drove her wonder for the complexity of nature and natural systems. She now sees the outdoors as a powerful way to inspire, develop, and empower others to define and take charge of their futures.
