One Lane of 220 North Closed Due to Crash

ROCKY MOUNT – A crash involving an SUV is resulting in some slower drive times on the U.S. 220 North bypass this morning.

Cable 12 viewer Amanda Teer posted video of the accident to her Facebook page around 7 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 27, 2021).

In the video, a gray SUV can be seen with front end damage being loaded onto a wrecker.

Virginia State Police are on the scene and have the right lane closed near Rocky Mount.
