Ann Mason Altice

September 30, 1946 — August 8, 2026

Ann Mason Altice, age 79 of Glade Hill passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026. She was born September 30, 1946 to the late Robert and Arnita Furrow Mason. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years Kenneth Dallis Altice; brothers-in-law, Clay and Jan Altice; sister-in-law, Rose Mary Mason. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kristi McAlexander (Elmer); brothers, George (Ellen), Cecil (Joyce), Bill (Mildred) and Nathan Mason; in-laws; Loretta, Colleen and Justin (Janet) Altice; and along with several special nieces and nephews. 

Ann retired from AEP with 32 years’ service. After retirement, she enjoyed her employment with Flora Funeral Service, greeting many families. She was a faithful and active member of Redwood United Methodist Church. 

Funeral services will be held at Redwood United Methodist Church, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2026 with Rev. Bryan Buckles officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family request memorial donations be made to Redwood UMC Building Fund or Glade Hill Rescue Squad. Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
