Robert “Bob” Stouffer
March 5, 1941 — June 12, 2026
“He finished well!”

Robert “Bob” Stouffer, age 85 of Moneta, VA and Chambersburg, PA, repeatedly said, “I want to finish well”. On June 12, 2026 around 6:45pm “he finished well” and went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Bob and his wife Nancy were at an outdoor worship service in Virginia when a gust of wind blew the tent away and he sustained a fatal injury when struck by a support post.
The last 20 years Bob and Nancy’s vision was to see the EastLake Community Church in Moneta, VA flourish and grow. They freely shared the excitement of what God was doing in and through the Church.
Bob was born on March 5, 1941 to the late Harry Stouffer, Sr and Ruth (Burkholder) Stouffer of Chambersburg, PA. He studied agriculture at Penn State University and became a partner in his family’s business, Stouffer Brothers Implements in Chambersburg, and was well known in the farming community. He and his late wife Marlene (Stahl) had two boys, Andrew and Daren.
After Marlene’s passing from cancer in 1978, he remarried Nancy (Sipe) whose spouse was also deceased. Nancy’s three children, Brian, Brenda, and Karen and Bob’s two boys became a family.
Bob became a team with Nancy in growing their enterprise RB Stouffer Inc, a successful Amway business, and retired from the tractor company in the late 80’s.
A friend recently posted, “Having built a team of hundreds, spoken to thousands, and mentored countless individuals one-on-one, Bob had tremendous influence. But rather than leverage this influence to make his name great, he used it to bless others and point people to Jesus. Bob impacted people who would never walk through the doors of a church.”
He and Nancy recently returned to Chambersburg, to be close to family.
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy (Wildeson Sipe) Stouffer. His children, Andrew Stouffer (wife Gena), Daren Stouffer (wife Valerie), Brian Sipe (wife Sharlyn), Brenda Bernecker (husband Carl), Karen Martin (husband Lowell), 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and brothers Harry (Louise) and Jeff (Judy) Stouffer.
