Paige Law Renick

March 17, 1946 — January 17, 2026

Paige Law Renick, beloved mother and grandmother, age 79 of Rocky Mount, passed away after a short illness peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Paige was born on March 17, 1946 to the late James Henry and Catherine Powell Law. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Renick. She is survived by her companion and special friend, Galen Fisher; daughter, Kathy Poff (Terry); son, Kerry Renick (Donna); sisters, Angie Weddle (Corvin), Betty Wadkins (Bill); brother, Leonard Law (Rachel); brothers-in law, Eddie Renick (Connie) and Dr. Charles Renick; three grandchildren, Emily Newcomb (Brandon), Hunter Poff (Katy) and Tyler Renick; two great-grandchildren, Eliza Newcomb and Jack Newcomb; along with many nieces and nephews. Paige retired from the Franklin County Treasurer’s office as Deputy Treasurer in 2011. She spent much of her retirement enjoying the beach alongside Galen and was actively involved in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives. The family wishes to thank all those that assisted with Mom’s care allowing her to remain in her home. Special thanks to Eva (Mary), Judy, Carrie, Mandy and Andrea for their dedication and care for our mom. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. A celebration of life will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
