Tina Marie Brown Spencer, age 41 of Glade Hill died suddenly on Friday, December 5, 2025. She is reunited with her father, Jewell Brown, Sr., and her aunt, Christine Pendleton and their Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles and a special father-in-law, Stephen Spencer. Tina is survived by her son, Gabriel Michael Carper, daughter, Christina Dawn Spencer, step-son, Kody W. Spencer, her mother, Sheila Brown (Jewell Brown, Sr., deceased) and her brother, Jewell Brown, Jr. (Linda) along with many nieces and nephews; special friends, Allenna Ray, April Reynolds along with a very special mother-in-law, Rita Spencer.

Tina had worked very hard to get back on the right path in life. She found a relationship with her Lord and Savior and was baptized May 22, 2022. She had a job with James River Equipment (220, Boones Mill). It was a dream job and she loved it. She loved her work companions and they respected and loved her back. Tina was a maintenance person and she could fix anything and did not quit until she figured it out. She was kind hearted and would help anyone.

Tina was outgoing and fun, a happy and social person who was always on the go. She loved deer hunting and camping. She was always there for her children, making sure they had everything they needed. Tina was so special, she loved life and there will never be another Tina. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Glade Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2025. Burial will be private. Her family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
