Fondly known as Gram, left to remember her love are numerous friends, nieces, and nephews, who brought her great joy. She loved her grand-dogs, Emmy and Foxee, and great-grand dog Thunder, who treasured being her companions. Other fur babies Dixie, Brody were waiting with wet noses, wagging tails and twitchy butts for her heavenly arrival. Joyce retired from DuPont, with more than 30 years of service on their swing shift. She then embarked on a new career with Travel Consultants, where she could work and spend time with her granddaughter. Gram will be remembered for her dedication to family, friends and all those deserving of her unwavering love. Her service will be at Franklin Heights Church (110 Hilltop Drive, Rocky Mount, VA) 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 8, 2025. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
