Clarence Youmans
July 28, 1928 – February 13, 2025

Clarence Youmans, age 96 of Rocky Mount and formerly of New Jersey died Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born July 28, 1928 in Cassville, NJ the 2nd child of 11 brothers and sisters and was the last to leave this world to be with God. He was a chicken farmer tending 40,000 chickens and every time he wanted to quit, he got a raise. He delivered bread and milk for nine cents a quart, then went to work at a paint and dye factory for 25 years. Following that work, he did a lot of various other jobs. Mr. Youmans loved bingo and talking to friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine; second wife, Patricia; and girlfriend of 20 years, Deloris. He has three children, Bobby (deceased), Linda and Tommy; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. He never met a stranger and was loved and will be deeply missed by all. His dogs kept him going this long and they will miss him and his bagels every morning. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church with Rev. Will Waller officiating. A memorial service will also be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River, NJ.
