Bonnie Dent

December 13, 1952 – February 15, 2025

Bonnie Dent, age 72 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, February 15, 2025. After her long-fought battle with dementia, she is finally dancing on the streets of gold. There was nothing she loved more than being “Granny B” to Jacob and Cieanna. She was preceded in death by her parents, D.C. and Ruby Wimmer; husband, Tommy Dent; and sister, Betty Dent. Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Holland and husband Roy; grandchildren, Jacob Holland, Cieanna (fiancé, Chris) Holland, Kelly Stowers; brother-in-law, Jimmy Dent; nephew, Michael Dent; great-nephew, Jase Dent; and dear friend, Dulcie Wright. A graveside service will be held at the Holland Family Cemetery 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2025. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
