Elizabeth Diane Overstreet Carson, age 68 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Vincent Carson III; and mother, Catherine Chapman. Surviving are her two daughters, Tracy Carson and Jamey Carson; grandchildren, Summer Pagans, Chelsea Pagans, Brandon Carson (fiancé, Alexis), Lane Shortt, Nevaeh Pagans and Haleigh Carson; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Audrey, Camden, Oakland, Braxton and Maverick; siblings, Brenda, Tommy, David, Regena, Teresa and Patty; many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth had many friends who knew her by “Mama Carson.” Services will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
