Guenter Schmidt passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 89. Born in Germany on December 17, 1935, to Anna and Ferdinand Schmidt. Guenter’s life was a testament to resilience and love. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings, as well as numerous beloved aunts and uncles who all played an integral role in his early years. Their memory remained a source of strength throughout his life. He is survived by a cherished sister, Marianne Jung (Ulrich), and many nieces and nephews in Germany whom he shares a close relationship. Guenter shared a deep and enduring bond with his late wife, Barbara Schmidt. Together they built a family rooted in love and strength that will carry forward their legacy.
