Heather Rae Thurman, age 27 of Glade Hill went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening December 15, 2024. Heather was born July 8, 1997. A true blessing to her parents and brother, Jack. She was a true believer in God and member of Hodgesville Pentecostal Church. Heather was a graduate of FCHS and started out working in the healthcare profession. But her love of the outdoors, farming, driving tractors and trucks took her into driving trucks. She worked at Davenport Energy for a few years and this year began driving for Hilltop Mulch. Heather’s smile was contagious as she never met a stranger. She was always busy and was definitely a daddy’s girl. Her greatest and biggest love was her daughter, Daisy. She was a great mom and their bond was so special. Surviving are her daughter, Daisy; parents, Kim Allen and Cindy Thurman; brother, Jack Thurman (Taylor); niece, Lillie; nephew, Mason; aunts and uncles, Regina Motley (Tony), Owen Wray (Vikki), Lois Wray, Annie Boitnott (Charles), Jackie Wray (Melissa); numerous cousins near and far. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
