Elsie L. Harrison

July 16, 1932 – November 17, 2024

Elsie Law Harrison, age 92 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. Elsie was born July 16, 1932 to the late Owen and Addie Law. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cletis Clyde Harrison; granddaughter, Julie Ann Harrison; six sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her two sons, Henry “Jack” Harrison (Gloria), and Daniel Harrison (Rebecca); two granddaughters, Melissa and Heather, along with four great-grandchildren, Emily, Jamie, Samantha and Christopher, her sister Patsy Eubank. Elsie loved her family, enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She was an active member of Doe Run Christian Church and was very involved with March of Dimes and United Way. She also enjoyed “Ringing the Bell” for the Salvation Army, where she also served as an officer. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2024 with Rev. Michael Stump officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
