Vonne Renee Bailey

April 24, 1965 – October 3, 2024

Vonne R. Bailey, 59, unexpectedly died on October 3, 2024 in her home in Boones Mill, Virginia. She was born April 24, 1965. She is preceded in death by her mother, Robin Dunford; and sister, Dierdre Teeter.

Vonne is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Herbert (Barry) Bailey; son, Cody and his wife Rachel; son, Alex; daughter, Samantha; three grandchildren, Sophia, Owen, and Natalie; and several nieces and nephews. 

Vonne was a native of Roanoke Virginia, working throughout her life in various fields to help other individuals. She was passionate and loved interacting with people, touching the lives of many, and was a stranger to no one. She is a believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was devoted to, and loved her pets, that she kept throughout her life, most recently with Maddie, Jaxson, and Loki. 

Memorial services will be conducted from Sandy Ridge Baptist Church (Rocky Mount, VA) at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 7, 2024 with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Her family will receive friends shortly prior to the service at 10:00 A.M. at Sandy Ridge Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
