Juanita Lynette “Nette” Dawson

December 23, 1963 – September 19, 2024

Juanita Lynette “Nette” Dawson, age 60 of Snow Creek went to be with her Lord and Savior, September 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Dawson; daughter, Carla Dawson; grandson, Tegan Church; and grandmother, Nellie Soyars. Surviving are her devoted companion and the love of her life, Larry Smith; three children, Monica Church, Casey Dawson and Brett (Courtney) Smith; grandchildren, Rylee, Trinity, Lacey, Montana, Tensley, Avery, Brayden, Natalie, Sadie, Aubrey, Dahlia and Baby Dawson arriving January 2025; mother, Sherry Hodges and step-father, Wayne Hodges. Nette enjoyed flowers and making crafts. For much of her life, she kept to herself until she fell in love with Larry. She enjoyed spending life and making memories with him, especially being his #1 fan at the softball field. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family residence (264 Foggy Bottom Trail, Martinsville, VA 24112), 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2024.
