Carole Lee Fulcher Booth

Carole Lee Fulcher Booth, 82, of Penhook, VA, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. Born on February 27, 1942, in Patrick Springs, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Ford Fulcher and Mary Pansie Fulcher. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Lynn Fulcher.
Carole is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Harold H. Booth of Penhook, VA; her daughter, Tammy Booth Meadows (Rodney) of Charlottesville, VA; and her son, Jeff Booth of Rocky Mount, VA. She was a devoted grandmother to her granddaughters Chelsey Booth (Courtney) of Midlothian, VA, Madeline Audia of Charlottesville, VA, Morgan Meadows of Los Angeles, CA, and Anna Black of Charlottesville, VA. She also leaves behind two cherished great-grandchildren, Amelia Renee and Andre Elijah Clark-Black of Charlottesville, VA. Carole is also survived by beloved cousins, dear friends, and extended family.
In her free time, she loved spending time with her husband at their favorite restaurant, Carl’s Place. Carole was a proud graduate of Stuart High School, class of 1961, and Ferrum College, class of 1963. She was an active and beloved member of the Penhook Fellowship Church, the Red Hats Society and Eastern Star. Her faith and community were central to her life, and she will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and dedication to those she loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Penhook Fellowship Church General Fund in Carole’s memory.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Penhook Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Services and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
