Dean Allen Angle

November 23, 1950 – July 12, 2024

Dean Allen Angle, age 73 of Rocky Mount was called home on Friday, July 12, 2024. He was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church. Early in his life he worked for the Virginia Division of Forestry. Later, he took up carpentry and became a contractor, all while farming. Dean loved God and his family and friends. Some of his happiest times were while trout fishing with his sons.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Gladys Angle. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Denise Angle; daughter, Patricia Angle; sons, Darryl (Jess) Angle, Bradley (Brett) Angle, Brandon (Shana) Angle; brothers, David (Betty) Angle, Dale (Mary Ann) Angle, Glen (Carol) Angle; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The family will hold visitation on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Franklin Heights Church from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Franklin Heights Church at 4:00 P.M. with interment to follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
