Habitat Franklin County E-Newsletter March 2024

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Message from the Executive Director: Welcome to Spring!  The winter has been a busy time for us and we have many irons in the fire.  For all of our volunteers, we are in the process of choosing the next Habitat Homeowner and will start building soon!  Be on the lookout for eblasts asking for volunteers on Wednesday or Saturday. Habitat is hosting an event at the Skelton 4-H Center in Wirtz on May 16th.  There will be an opportunity to help your community by giving to Habitat.  If you want to be included on the invitation list, please email [email protected] or call 540-483-8884.We are also hosting Facebook Live on Thursdays at 2pm to spotlight the ReStore.  Please follow us on Facebook and learn about the ReStore and all the cool merchandise we have. Thank you to the Franklin County community for all of your support over the years!  We’ve been here since 1994 and couldn’t have done it without you. Please consider clicking on  and supporting this great cause.  Thank you!

Volunteer Spotlight

We are extremely grateful for all of our wonderful volunteers!

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Habitat for Humanity’s work. Not only do volunteers help Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County provide affordable housing solutions for families in need, but they also help to strengthen our community by setting aside their valuable time to help others. Volunteering for Habitat is a truly rewarding and fun experience that you will never forget!

We also offer group build days for area businesses, clubs, churches and other groups that are interested in volunteering together. This is a great way to make an impact on the local community while strengthening your team.

If you or others you know would like to receive volunteer email updates, or if you would like to schedule a team build day, we’d love to add you to our list! Send names and email addresses to our construction manager, Bill, at [email protected]
