Rose Clemons Hodges

Rose Clemons Hodges left her earthly home to be with her Savior on January 24, 2024 at the age of 99. She leaves behind her children, Jimmie Hodges, J.T. Hodges (Vicky) and Katherine Baldassaro; and a sister, Peggy Branscome (Willy). She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Hodges (Joy); twin daughters, June and Jean Hodges; her mother, June Abshire Clemons; her father, William Clemons; her sisters Catherine Hodges, Addie Sisto, Dorothy Butler, Virgie Ferrara and Margaret Davis and her mother-in-law and father in-law, J.T. and Sallie Hodges, her daughter-in-law, Eldean Hodges and her son-in-law, Octavio Baldassaro.

Rose also leaves behind her grandchildren, Tony Hodges (Suzanne), David Hodges (Karen), Frankie Hodges (Terri), Jeff Hodges (April), Jackie Hodges, Jimmie Hodges, Jr, Bryan Hodges, Christopher Raykiewicz (Barbara), Joe Raykiewicz, Missie Gautsch and Jon Raykiewicz (Holly); 20 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Rose was a hairdresser for the majority of her life, a job she truly loved.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the help and guidance given by Mountain Valley Hospice.

Rose’s graveside services will be on Saturday, January 27 11:00 AM at Mountain View Memorial Park. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
