Perry Wayne Blankenship

Perry Wayne Blankenship, age 59 of Rocky Mount has gone to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Blankenship; his mother, Ester Mae Blankenship and Stella Denise Blankenship. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Danny (Lois) Blankenship, Ricky (Valerie) Blankenship, Ronald Blankenship, Barry “Pete” Blankenship, Cheryl (Danny) Hodges, Jerry Blankenship and Lorenda Goodman; daughters, Ona Alisha (Zachary) Zwart and Misty Elkins (Brian) Hall; granddaughters, Aaliyah Zwart, Macy Zwart. Also survived by many other family members (nieces, nephews, and cousins).  A special thank you to Josh Gardner. Visitation will be held at Flora Funeral Home in Rocky Mount from 3-4 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers or donations to the family, the family wishes that you make donations to Hunters for the Hungry.
