Margaret Lee Spencer

Margaret Lee Spencer, age 74 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benton and Mamie Crook; and brother, Melvin Crook. Surviving are her husband, Wilson Spencer; children, Tammy Bohon (Phillip), Gary Austin (Christie); grandchildren, Jesse Gharakhanian, Crystal Pagans, Dylan and Ryder Austin; and 13 great-grandchildren. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by everyone. She was an avid animal lover and had trust in her faith. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Young Family Cemetery (Fork Mountain Road) with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating.
