Edward Michael Crum, age 60 of Ferrum passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021. His family and friends are deeply saddened by his death. Ed was larger than life. He owned a Timber business for over 35 years and loved cutting down trees with his chainsaw. Around the house he liked nothing better than using his bobcat or bulldozer to move dirt from one end of the property to the other. Ed enjoyed driving his log truck and spending time with all of his many friends at the woodyard.
Edward’s entire life was spent serving the Lord. For many years as Deacon and Royal Ranger Leader at Ferrum Faith Assembly of God. The Lord opened a door for him to serve as Children’s Pastor at Faith Fellowship. Prior to his illness the Lord opened yet another opportunity for Edward to serve in Children’s Church at Celebration Church of God.
Edward loved spending time with his family and many friends. He will be missed more than words can say. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, November 6th, the funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Both events will be at Edward & Phyllis’ home in the Big Ass Barn.
