Jason Daniel Bradford
Jason Daniel Bradford of Rocky Mount, VA age 43 passed away at New River Valley Hospital after a battle with a number of health issues. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Warren Hardy and Thelma Bradford, Irvin and Katherine Yopp; his mother, Annie Bell Bradford; plus special aunts, Joyce and Cathy; and uncle, Roger. Jason graduated from Franklin Co. High School in 1997. He worked at Pizza Hut as a dough maker and also worked at the Goodwill Store. He learned to sing gospel songs at the age of 3 standing on song books in a chair behind the pulpit of the church. It was told that he learned to sing before he learned to talk. He was well loved by his family and all that knew him. We will miss you so much and your laughter. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Roger Lee and Barbara Bradford; step-brother, Cliff Turner (Lauren) and their children (Charlie and Eleanor); step-sister, Rhonda Sue Turner; and three special aunts, Janice Smith and Geraldine Hylton (Larry), Josephine Yopp; uncle, Wayne Smith, Luke Yopp; and several cousins. The family respectfully request no food. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Denver Turner and Pastor Steve Board officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
