Online Fundraiser Set Up For the Two Victims of Monday’s Shooting in Henry

HENRY – A GoFundMe page has been set up for the two men who were shot in the early morning hours of Monday in the Henry community of Franklin County.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says Justin Chase Prillaman, 20 of Henry, was killed and James Matthew Prillaman was hospitalized in the shooting.

Three men have been charged in the shooting.

An online fundraiser set up by Hailey Smith on GoFundMe has collected $2,955 from 57 donors as of Wednesday afternoon. The goal is $10,000.

“In the midst of that morning, Matt was critically injured. We are raising money to help relieve some of the pressure off of the family and give them some type of comfort during this difficult time,” Smith said on the page.

All of the money raised will go to Justin’s funeral costs and Matt’s Medical Bills.
