Mower, Trailer Stolen From Charity Fundraiser

SYDNORSVILLE – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person or people responsible for taking off with a trailer and lawn mower Thursday May 7 at the Pit Stop Market and Deli on Route 220 South of Rocky Mount, according to a news release from Sergeant Megan Patterson.

The Husqverna zero turn mower and 2012 Nexhaul trailer were last on the property the night before, Patterson says. Both were recently advertised as part of a charity fundraiser for We Care of Franklin County and the Crossroads Ruritan Club.
