Rocky Mount Woman Killed in Wreck on Sontag Road


SONTAG – Virginia State Police are investigating a wreck that killed a Rocky Mount woman Friday afternoon on Sontag Road.
Dorothy Jane Hall, 64, was driving a 1993 Ford Tempo east on Sontag Road when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser traveling west.
Hall was not wearing her seat belt and died at the scene, police say.
The crash happened at 1:10 p.m. Friday, June 14, three-tenths of a mile east of Route 632.
No information was available on the occupants of the PT Cruiser, police said.
The wreck remains under investigation.
