Flora Funeral Service Obituary: Pat Landen Hopkins

Pat Landen Hopkins, age 77 of Wirtz went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Pat was a loving mom, nanny, and friend and loved her Lord. She was a faithful member of Halesford Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Landen; brother, Bill Landen, Jr.; a son, Jimmy Story. She is survived by her loving children, Trish (David) McCormick, and Chris (Kim) Richardson; grandchildren, Zach and Isaac McCormick, Taylor (Hailey) Richardson, Anna Richardson, Patrick and Jennifer Story, and Samantha Kessel; brother, Don Landen; and beloved pet, Molly. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Halesford Baptist Church, Wirtz, VA, with Pastor Melvin Harris and Taylor Richardson officiating. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
