FERRUM, Va. — The Southern Virginia Knights jumped out to an early lead on the Panthers scoring 8 unanswered goals to start the game before cruising to a 18-3 non-conference win. The Knights were led by Lauren Thatcher with 4 goals.

THE BASICS
The Knights jumped out to an early lead on the Panthers (1-2) scoring the games’ first 8 goals before Ferrum was finally able to get on the board at the 15:01 mark.
The rest of the half was all Southern Virginia as they tacked on another five goals to take a 13-1 lead into the break.
