Franklin County Sheriffs Office Celebrates Read Across America Week With Local Students
ROCKY MOUNT – Members of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and E911 dispatchers spent last week reading to students at Lee Waid Elementary, STEP Inc., Boones Mill Elementary, and Windy Gap Elementary to celebrate Read Across America Week. The sheriff’s department would like to thank all principals, teachers, staff, and students for making them feel welcome and sharing a book or two.
