Sheriff’s Department ‘Fills the Bus’ with Community’s Help

ROCKY MOUNT – The Office of the Sheriff participated in the “Fill The Bus” campaign again this year at our local Walmart.

The event was sponsored by the Salvation Army, Franklin County Public Schools and many other groups/volunteers. Organizers called the event a great blessing.

“Thanks to all who came out to volunteer their time and efforts as we collected school supplies.  These items will be given to students needing assistance this year,” said H.L. Nolen, Community Outreach for the Office of the Sheriff.

The Sheriff’s Office sends out a special thanks to those you who gave school supplies and/or donations.
