Harvester Adds Langhorne Slim, Candlebox to Spring Lineup

ROCKY MOUNT, Virginia — Harvester Performance Center has set two more dates as part of
its already busy spring season.

Singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim, no stranger to Southwest Virginia live-music fans, will
perform at the venue Sunday, March 20, at 8 p.m.

“Strawberry Mansion,” Slim’s latest project, was released in January. The deeply personal
album features 18 tracks written by Slim in March, April and May 2020, and was named for the
Philadelphia neighborhood where his grandfathers grew up.

Slime’s hits include “Changes,” “The Way We Move” and “Sea of Love.”

The Seattle-based Candlebox will take the Harvester stage Saturday, April 23, at 8 p.m.

The band’s September release, “Wolves,” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard chart. Its songs run
the gamut from dirty-rock stompers to tunes with a more pop-rock sound.

Topping the list of Candlebox fan favorites are “Far Behind,” “You” and “Cover Me.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
